Raised in rural Wisconsin as a brown and bearded Muslim child of Pakistani immigrants made a large impact on my identity. I quickly learned that with storytelling others not only learn to be tolerant of difference, but become appreciative of it. This cultivated my passion to use visual media as a tool to engage my communities and spark empathy.
