About Me
Communication. Connection. Empathy.
Raised in rural Wisconsin as a brown and bearded Muslim made a large impact on my identity. I quickly learned that with storytelling others not only learn to be tolerant of difference, but become appreciative of it. This cultivated my passion to use visual media as a tool to engage my communities and spark empathy.
To put this passion into practice, I established a grassroots multimedia brand, Of The Diaspora, to uplift youth of color in Madison. Through the platform, I produce content to promote local artists and change makers, curate playlists and media recommendations focusing on representation, and design products for activist messaging.
In my free time, I craft spoken word pieces, work on my original screenplay for a miniseries titled “Wisconstan,” and TikTok (of course!)
I am eager to find a career where I can continue to refine my digital and design skills to brand and communicate client’s stories. Everyone has a story. Let me help tell yours.
